The family's vineyards

The house farms its own Côte des Blancs vines, including sites in Vertus, Avize, Cramant and Oger. Chardonnay is the main variety. The estate dates its adoption of biodynamics to 1999 and its organic certification to 2003.

From vineyard to cellar

The producer describes fermentation with indigenous yeasts, ageing in barrels and large wooden casks, then extended bottle ageing. Dosage is restrained. These production choices give useful context for exploring the range, without replacing a tasting of an individual cuvée.

Champagne or Coteaux Champenois?

Longitude is listed as a Blanc de Blancs, while Les Chemins d'Avize carries a vintage and Grand Cru designation in our catalogue. Note that Vertus Blanc is Coteaux Champenois: a still wine, not sparkling Champagne. That distinction matters when you want bubbles for an occasion.
